Ingenuity has comprehensive and easy-to-use
facilities to grant users of both the Ingenuity software and
its database access to only what they should see, update,
or do. Furthermore, the use of these facilities does not require
any technical knowledge of either the underlying database
structure, or the database itself.
Users may be restricted to access only specified modules,
processes, items of information, and groupings of employees.
All or any data may be included within an audit log that records
for each item of information what is changed: the nature of
the change, its date and time, who made the change, and the
‘before’ and ‘after’ contents of the
item of information that was changed. This audit log may be
printed at any time, scheduled to print at pre-defined intervals
(and automatically e-mailed to one or more individuals) or
enquired upon on-line.
